about

This is the album we chose to make after abandoning the first piece. After having worked on a single long piece for quite some time, we thought it would be nice to play some songs for a change.

We basically recorded live in the room together, and only overdubbed what was necessary. Most of the solos were live. Masters were edited together from several takes on nearly every song

Tracks 5, 6 and 7 form a suite called "Open Letter To All Enemies Of Science."

Track Name: Have You Seen Pantapon Rose?
(instrumental)
Track Name: Brother's Sleeper
It hit me like a brick wall
Fields of stone oversee your fall
you'll fall into flyers and bells

Etruscan ruins and glass beads
Traffic controls all your needs
I'll need time enough to lead

Cross lines established by your brother's sleeper
when paper sleeves surround your family ties

My favorite places have been
In water soaking hot streams
your streams flow in fever dreams

Cross lines established by your brother's sleeper
when paper sleeves surround your family ties

You don't know what it's like to be conscripted blessings
'til you've been offered Eros' cup and become window dressings

Impassioned night dreams abound
Wet daydream sirens all sound
your sound, drenched and silent bound

Cross lines established by your brother's sleeper
when paper sleeves surround your family ties

You ain't never felt a scene like a bubble all nighter
And have you met a monotreme who had St. Bernard's fire?

You don't know what it's like to be conscripted blessings
'til you've been offered Eros' cup and become window dressings
You ain't never had to feel like the Trojan armada
but as your messages congeal, you'll be sunken and swallowed by the empty gate
Track Name: Ghosts
Waiting at the station, you never thought today would bring you anything, but she calls you with her eyes.
Hands and lips are shaking, getting to know each other on the plastic seats, feelin' fine on Proctor Creek.

Whatever she does to me, I can't explain.
She's falling in love with me, and I feel the same.

Lost in the sensation, you never want this day to end, you're spending time with your brand new girlfriend.
Random act of violence brings you back down to reality,
it's nothing good, a dead girl's eyes and a pool of blood.

Can't go on without her, can't ride the train.
And just then her ghastly apparition came.

She said "I still love you baby, use by body as you please."

(Ghost love instrumental section)

You can't bring yourself to put her in the ground,
though she's cold you never feel rigor mortis, stiff as steel.
Her ghost lays beside you, neighbors can smell, there'll
be no rose for Emily, no necrophiliac gallantry.

Waiting at the station, they take your prints, they take your pride, they leave no choice, there's nothing left but suicide.
Waiting in your jail cell, trying to fashion hanging rope you tear your clothes. Reunion with your loving ghost.
Track Name: Turn Around and Raise
Cold silhouettes won't betray all your secrets and all your charms, bottled and flayed in the light. I wanted to show you your oversight.

You had to stay in your jar through the meetings and menus, 'cause you're a railway lark. Foil and brimstone hang in the park.

I'll take the elevator to the crest of a wave in my head.

Curl up with a Joni album on, in your sighs, I can hear clowns drown in fleece. Coffee stained martyr has been released.

I'll take the elevator to the crest of a wave in my head.

I'll ride this wave, and you'll never know I took your frozen pride. However soot stained, however wide.

I'll take the elevator to the crest of a wave in my head.

Track Name: Sunday Waste
You refuse the invitation,
and you retufe the implications
Grind to a standstill, he's not shaken,
the situation's going to conceal

Praline commandos full of grace,
having another mental chase,
however sheepishly you stumble through the Sunday Waste.

In her eyes, the sky's elation
is humbled only by it's maturation
He paints a fresco, becomes a traitor,
the situation's going to conceal

Praline commandos full of grace,
having another mental chase,
however sheepishly you stumble through the Sunday Waste.

Praline commandos full of grace,
having another mental chase,
however sheepishly you stumble through the Sunday cornfed aerospace.
Track Name: megaproject THEME II (part one)
(instrumental)
Track Name: ...As Drowsing Exterior Mountains Come Down...
The skyline burns electric energy and time.
Ten million orchids bloom, but none of them are mine.

In the streets, I see pilgrims, I see them losing all restraint, but I know how to wait.

In rousing I establish faces out of clay.
When drowsing I extinguish flames that burn all day.

In the streets, I see children, I see them rush through their campaigns, but I know how to wait.

But every time I see you, I don't know what to say.
And though I think I need you, it seems so out of place for me to feel so weighed down, the mountain makes my feel the clock is counting.

So I'll just wait until the snake steals from the crow.
I've told you nothing 'cause that's all there's left to know.

In the streets, I see pilgrims, I see them losing all restraint, burn their last complaint, and knowing, turn to faint, but I know how to wait.
